Alyse Galatis has made arrangements for our weekend at the Marriott Courtyard Key Largo Resort.  Many thanks Alyse. A road trip to the Keys has been a planning stage for a long time. GLAD we are moving forward. This event is open to non-members as well.

Raul and Astrid Reyes are arranging a caravan drive on Saturday morning Oct 11 – Starting in Port St Lucie (7am) – Florida turnpike – stopping along at the service plaza to collect our group headed to Key Largo. “THE TENTATIVE” Schedule is first stop:  WPB 8am; Pompano Beach 850 am and continuing –  stopping for breakfast in Homestead (appx 10:30) at Mario’s Family Restaurant. PLEASE contact Raul – directly at: Raul’s caravan group  to let them know you will be joining the group & where (the Service plaza on turnpike). He can add more stops along the way..(this schedule could change). AND you can sign that pesky required waiver!  If you are going to join the group for breakfast and continue- let him know so we can get a table to accommodate our group.

We are planning a private tour of the Island Dolphin Care Center (not-for-profit)- Pete Hoagland (Director and chapter member). Let us know if you are interested…including the members that have said we will “stop by the resort” to visit with everyone!

Although check in time is  3pm – If your room isn’t ready – we can still use the facilities onsite. We will be able to bring our own coolers/beverages (no glass items) poolside – as long as we clean up after ourselves.

We do have to have a 2 night minimum (holiday weekend)- but it does cover the weekend if you want to arrive on  Friday – or Saturday (checking out on Sunday or Monday). Friday and Saturday night rate is $185 and the Sunday night rate is $175.
